If your mind is doing a tug of war between having a bunk bed or pull out bed, here’s a comparison of the two efficient beds from my own point of view.
Thought both beds saves extra floor space in a room, I prefer pull out beds more than bunk beds simply because a bunk bed tends to darken the room since the upper bed shield the bed under thus the light of the room gets dim, though it can be fixed by placing a small light adjacent to the lower bed. In addition, you must have a high ceiling if you’re planning to get some bunk beds, it would be hard to move around the upper bed if it’s elevated to the ceiling.
Though you can store some stuffs like small school equipment or shoes under the bunk beds, you cannot do so in a pull out bed. To boot, you can personalize your pull out beds by placing some usable drawers and sturdy wheels to make it easy for pulling in and out.
