I love pets and that love has been passed on to my three year old daughter who certainly enjoys having our dog and fishes at home. I guess the bug is contagious, coz my husband who in the past doesn’t like the idea of an aquarium started to buy koi fishes. The bigger aquarium in the house is in fact a gift from him!
Having a pet at home teaches our child responsibility. It’s like taking care of an infant. And at her early age, my daughter knows how to feed our koi fishes and our dog. I guess, more than the joy of seeing our pets nurtured with tender loving care, the joy they bring in our lives has been incomparable. It teaches us lesson to care beyond boundaries.
So I guess, by the coming weeks we will add another pet and am thinking of getting a bird! An Easter gift for our family, perhaps! Funny how I am browsing at Happy Easter store now if they have any coz if they do I will definitely buy one pronto!
