You reflect your organization’s name by how you dress up and how you project yourself. Most of the times, companies invest on the uniforms of their employees to create a solid identity. For an instance, hospitals choose a color that will prevail on their premises and mark their name on the scrub uniforms. Doctors are also expected to be in lab coat especially in areas where sanitation is highly observed. With these, nurses, specialists and doctors working for a particular hospital are easily recognized and these scrubs create an aura of professionalism on the part of medical team. You never want to see nurses assisting the doctors with their own choice of shirts and denim pants, right? Also, if you will notice, scrubs are worn and paired, nowadays, with sneakers.
In early days, nurses are in white blouse and A-line cut skirt, in white stockings and white shoes. Nowadays, that is observed primarily by interns. Since nurses are going up and down, walk from one wing to the other, within the hospital vicinity, it gives them justice to wear something that provides comfort and ease. Scrubs are intentionally sewn a bit loose and not fitting to their bodies to provide space for movement, the sneakers give them the capacity to leap from one station to another. They can just bend over or assist a patient without having to worry of how properly fixed their uniform is. This time, they can actually run without having trouble with what they wear.
So, what do you think your uniform does to you?
