I would certainly have a bookshelf in my dream home someday. Husband and I have kept our books from our college days and together with some mma gear they are kept on our entertainment rack right now. Given that they are mostly accounting books I am sure they would be outdated in ten years time. But still I would keep them just for posterity’s sake.
Right now I have Nicholas sparks and mitch albom books – they were borrowed I hope they find their way back home, lol. And yes, I am hoarding children’s books from book sale when I get the chance. I am buying books for my daughter and I want her to love reading too.
