Attending baby shower is one of my favorites as babies are special to my heart. How could you resist the joy of celebrating the pending birth of another life? You would see the fusion of fear and excitement in the eyes of the mom-to-be. No matter how simple the event would be, I would like to share some of my knowing about the shower:
a. The mother-to-be should not be the one to initiate organizing the shower. The party must be thrown for her, as such, anyone close to her can do the planning and execution.
b. It should not be held at the house of the mom-to-be to keep her from unnecessary stress of preparing the venue and cleaning afterwards. It is best done in the place of the hostess in case it is a small celebration. However, the number of the expected visitors must also be considered.
c. Baby shower is suggested to be held three or four months before her expected delivery.
d. Consider the budget. Take into account the invites, theme, food, games and prizes, giveaways and presents for the mom-to-be. Remember, finger foods and light drinks are most appropriate. Invitations may be made simple, just ensure accurate details are indicated and words are correctly spelled.

Great tips. I didn't have a baby shower for my first one, but I had one at work for my second. I was on bed rest for my first.
Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
