Proper Ventilation at Home

The most comfortable place on earth is inside your house. It is your shelter from extreme heat. But what happens when you find staying at your own home as if you are grilled in an oven? Never wait for that time to happen.

To keep proper air ventilation, widely open the windows. Preferably at night, when the air is cooler, let the air in then close the window at daytime to keep the cool air inside. Install white window curtains, blinds or drapes to reflect the heat away. Grow vines on trellises to provide shade on windows. Use fan with air conditioning to spread cool air in the house. Do something to cover the compressor of aircon unit protruding outside the house.

These are simple yet proven effective in adding coolness at your home. No cost involved, isn’t that cool?

Good tips. It's so hot if your house is very small with very low ceilings and sometimes very few and very small window. Just like many of the houses in the Philippines.
